Established in 2002, Kolping Conference and Recreation centre is an organ of Kolping Organization of Kenya, an arm of the International Kolping society whose headquarters is based in Cologne, Germany. Its mission is to work for the integral development of its members and for the benefit of the community through spiritual nourishment and guidance, training and economic development.
The centre aims at providing and promoting quality and competitive service in an amiable, pleasant and serene environment.
It is primely located in spacious environs on an attractive garden in Lang’ata, off Magadi road approximately 10km from the Nairobi central business district, 3km from the Nakumatt Galleria (Bomas) Junction and 20km from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.It is a place most guests consider home away from home. Situated in a quiet area, it provides for a tranquil setting that cannot be found in hotels.The centre offers a sanctuary ideal for workshops, retreats, wedding grounds, seminars and conferences popular with non-governmental and governmental organizations, individual groups, educational groups and private corporations and is readily accessible from central Nairobi with plenty of parking space.
The center is also easily accessible to several ultra modern shopping malls as Galleria Shopping mall and Nakumatt Crossroads in Karen, tourist attractions which include KWS Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Centre, Bomas of Kenya and David Sheldrick’s Elephant and Rhino sanctuary.

Our listing includes bed and breakfast, buffet, conference halls, photo sessions, and grounds use and events packages. We also offer guided tours on request.
Both buffet and à la carte menus are prepared from our kitchen. Our guests can choose from our menu or order special menus prior to an event. The meals offered include breakfast, tea and snacks, lunch, dinner or specials. We also serve a wide variety of local beers, fruit juices as well as cocktails.
Kolping conference centre boasts of lush green gardens as well as manicured lawns that make a perfect venue for weddings and other functions. We also have a back-up generator in the event of power outages and a central repository for guests’ valuables.
We are able to provide a variety of comfortable rooms for our clients. Accommodation is available in single and double rooms to a maximum capacity of 60 guests. All rooms are self contained with television sets and are also connected to DSTV and Wi-Fi Internet connection.
The facility incorporates two (2) Conference halls, seating 150 pax and 80 pax respectively, an executive board room and one small meeting room seating 30 and 25 pax respectively.
We provide full support services as video equipment, LCD and overhead projectors, flip charts, telephone, internet and email, CD writing and copying, all available at an extra cost.
Kolping Organization is a non-profit organization, and the funds raised by the use of these facilities are simply used to reach out to the community. This makes the Kolping Conference Centre a competitively priced choice for your conference or service needs.
There will be extra charge of Ksh 3,000/= per hour for events extending beyond 6pm to 8pm. 8pm and beyond Ksh 3,500/= is charged per hour
